Black Friday 2010

Hey!

If you were sent from this video, then HI! Welcome! Hope you enjoy your stay!

Today I want to talk about Black Friday, which was yesterday.

I went to two malls and a seperate department store yesterday morning from three a.m. to about seven a.m. I noticed some really interesting differences at each store.

The first mall was a huge mall. It originally opened at 12:01 a.m. so people could wait inside the mall for stores to open. We got there at three a.m. full of energy. By full of energy I mean caffiene fueled energy. Anyway, we walked around and I realized how calm it was. Then we got to the Best Buy and saw a huge line to get in. It was around six by then, and we had to leave to the next mall. The line was rushing to get in when we left.

The second mall was about thirty minutes away from the first one. We walked into Belk and saw a huge crowd around two tables of boots. Turns out, there were $20 boots there. The craziness was insane! Then we walked around and found that other stores weren't as crazy. It made me wonder where all the craziness went. Then I remembered the Best Buy and was strangely relieved. It was about nine then, so we left to our final store.

The last store was Kohl's. We were searching for $10 kitchen appliences. We didn't get exactly what we wanted, but I did get the awesome blanket over my head in the video mentioned above for only $9!

It was a great Black Friday, although it got me thinking. All that calmness made me wonder where the craziness had gone. Is all the fuss about the economy affecting a family tradition? Or was my family just too late and missed it all?

I'll see you guys later!
